Bonifay's Down Home Street  Festival

In an effort to give a helping hand to the home folks of our community, we will be offering a Caring For Home Folks Health Center this year during the festival.

Doctors Memorial Hospital 

 will providing the following services at no cost to you:

• Blood Pressure Checks-A measure of how blood is pressing against artery walls.
• Pulse Oximetry Checks-A measure of oxygen saturation of a patient's blood.
• Glucose Screening-A measure of the amount of glucose (sugar) in the blood. *For accurate test results the patient being tested must have fasted.
• Cholesterol Screening-A measure of Cholesterol (fat-like, waxy substance) in the blood.
• PSA Screening-A measure of the protein in the blood that can be measured to detect or monitor prostate cancer in men.

Information will be provided on various services offered within the hospital including: Physical Therapy, Clinical Lab, Respiratory, Radiology and Surgical Services.

We will also be having several other health care agencies there providing important health information such as:  

Covenant Hopspice

 Agency For Health Care Administration (Medicaid)

 Tobacco Free Holmes/SWAT

and

  Holmes County EMS

 will be on site to provide first aid in case of minor emergencies.

So ya'll make sure to come by and visit us at the "Caring For Home Folks Health Center" located in the "Brown House" on March 20.  We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
